Janice is a lifelong resident of the rural community of Cypress Island in St. Martin Parish. She is a graduate of St. Martinville Senior High School and began working in the insurance industry in 1972 when she joined the AC Gauthier Insurance Agency which was acquired in 1989 by the Durand Insurance Agency. Janice is married to Alvin Dupuis and they have 3 children- Miriam, Daniel, and Gerard and one grandson- Sean. She is the Personal Lines Account Manager in the St. Martinville office.
